OMRON Healthcare sponsors the 29th Scientific Meeting of the International Society of Hypertension
Showcasing the latest home-use ECG devices and the Remote Patient Monitoring Services
October 5, 2022 – OMRON Healthcare Co., Ltd. (Head Office: Muko, Kyoto, President & CEO: Isao Ogino, hereinafter referred to as "the Company") today announced the official sponsorship of the 29th Scientific Meeting of the International Society of Hypertension (hereinafter referred to as ISH 2022, hosted by International Society of Hypertension and Japanese Society of Hypertension) that will be held from October 12th to 16th, 2022 at Kyoto International Conference Center in Japan.
At ISH 2022, under the theme of "The Evolution of Preventive Care Based on Home Blood Pressure Management”, the Company will showcase the latest studies and the research findings which were earned with the help of healthcare professionals and researchers.
At the OMRON Sponsored Symposium on October 15th, the panels will discuss the clinical efficacies of wearable blood pressure monitors, night-time blood pressure monitors and the upper-arm blood pressure monitors with built-in ECG technology under the theme of “Development of Innovative Sensing Technologies Towards ZERO Cardiovascular Events.”
OMRON sponsors two Luncheon Seminars: “Progression of Home Blood Pressure Measurement in Asia” and “Remote Patient Monitoring for Hypertension Management”. At the booth, OMRON’s first manual manometer-type blood pressure monitor will be displayed along with a touch and try of the latest devices such as the upper-arm blood pressure monitor with ECG recordings. In addition, the benefits of OMRON Academy, the educational program for healthcare professionals will be showcased with the aim of driving awareness of cardiovascular preventive care and continuous improvements for an even better medical environment around the world.
Aiming for zero cerebro-cardiovascular events, the Company has been working on increasing the awareness of home blood pressure monitoring on a global scale and the expansion of home ECG recording with the help of healthcare professionals and clinical researchers. The company will continue to promote academic activities globally, develop the devices and service, and contribute to empower people worldwide to live life to the fullest.
